At taasa FOUNDATION, we believe in a world where every child, regardless of their abilities, can achieve their fullest potential. Established in 2017, taasa FOUNDATION is a civil society organization operating in Uganda, dedicated to addressing the immediate needs of children with disabilities, with a special focus on the deaf. Our flagship initiative, the School for the Deaf in Kamuli-Eastern Uganda, currently supports 40 deaf children—many of whom are orphans or abandoned by their guardians—by providing them with an education in sign language and essential life skills. Our aim is to empower these children to overcome the social and economic barriers they face, ensuring they become confident and self-sufficient members of society.
